I found our model very striking-looking, and she sat like a rock! I did find her dramatic eyelashes quite a challenge though, including the shadow cast by them...

Yes, excellent shadowing! Lashes are a pain, male or female. Some of the old masters portraits look nearly lashless - they must not have liked them either!
